So maybe you've heard of Julia Nunes and maybe you haven't. Truth is, either way it's hard not to mention her when you talk about the new generation of music.
Nunes is a ukulele playing singer/songwriter who has garnered a cult-like following on YouTube, and has won famous fans like Molly Ringwald and Ben Folds; the latter of whom invited Nunes to open for him in 2008.

Nunes was invited to play the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival last year, further cementing her as the living embodiment of the current direction of the music industry.

Here we have a girl who has become famous not only without the help of record labels or the media, but without even having to leave her house.

Fast forward to present day; we have a lot of imitators out there, but is it possible that some of these viral video artists are even more deserving of fame than Nunes?

This week, straight from http://www.youtube.com, the best bands you've never heard.

The Skinny: Colorado-based singer/songwriter Danielle Anderson is Danielle Ate The Sandwich, an eclectic young girl with a penchant for comedy.
