If you just want to get out of Tennessee, you might want to travel to Georgia.
In Georgia, you can go to Stone Mountain in Atlanta. You can take a sky hike on the nation's largest adventure course. You can see the Antebellum Plantation and Farmyard. You could also take a scenic tour on a full size locomotive from the 1940s. The tickets are $26 per person.
If you love roller coasters and water parks you might want to go to Six Flags Over Georgia. Those tickets are $39.99, but if you order the tickets online you pay the children's price of $29.99.

If you need a place to stay, you could stay at the Courtyard by Marriott. Rates start at $89 a night. It is less than two miles from Six Flags.

You might also try Wingate by Wyndham. Rates start at $92 a night. This hotel is a quarter mile from Six Flags. It has a spa and pool and offers complimentary breakfast.
Or if you want to spend a little more money on a nicer hotel you could stay at Springhill Suites by Marriott. Those rates start at $129 a night. It is one and half miles from Six Flags. It offers a complimentary breakfast, indoor pool, business center, as well as a fitness center.

You don't always have to be at the beach to have fun!
