Good defeated Rahkiya Oriedo by an 11 percent margin.
"I would like to think that either of them would have made a good president," said Richard Green, the current SGA vice president.
"I feel like it was an excellent experience campaigning against someone like Rahkiya," said Good. "[Oriedo] did an excellent job campaigning."
There were a grand total of 211 votes, 127 from the main campus, and 84 from Livingston and McGavock.
Oriedo actually won the main campus by 19 votes, while Good took McGavock and Livingston campuses 63-19.
"I feel amazing," said Good. "The numbers from McGavock- that was a shock to me."
Good didn't say that he expected to win but did mention he has been working with various campaigns since he was 13 years old.
"My campaign was running on the experience platform," said Good. "I think the non-traditional students would be more apt to vote for someone who was running on an experience platform."
"The first rule is you never say 'if we win you' always so 'when we win,'" added Good.
Good said that his cabinet will be exploring new opportunities on campus.
"We are going to connect with the student body. We are going to explore students' needs and what they feel like should be done on campus. We want to expand student participation. We are going to get some things done."
Good said he looks forward to working with and expanding the clubs on campus.
"I've been working with the SGA this entire year and part of last year," said Good who has also worked with the publications, music department and the radio station on campus.
Chris Lee, a student here, said he voted for Good.
"It mostly had to do with the club I am associated with here," said Lee, who is in the Dungeons and Dragons club.
"The other candidate was opting for less support to some of the clubs," added Lee.
"It is important for leaders to know there is a lot going on out there," concluded Good.
