The SGA will be hosting a student forum on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 12:15 p.m. in the Randy and Lois Wood Campus Center's cafeteria.
"It's an opportunity for the student body to ask questions directly to the administration," said Richard Green, vice president of the SGA.
According to Green, "The SGA will be sponsoring the event and it typically lasts for about an hour." The SGA is hoping for a better turn out this year. "There has been limited turnout previously," added Green.
"If you have something on your mind that you want an answer to, show up. Everybody with a question will get a chance to ask."
Vol State leaders and administration will be answering students questions.
"I think it's a good way for the students to understand how the faculty works or how the teachers base their grading scales," said student Ryan Nelson.
"One man's trash is another man's treasure," said student Joe DiCianni.
"I'm tired of wasting my money! I wish there was more free food on campus. I have other things to spend my money on like bills and gas!" student Andrew Hoffman vehemently added.
"I think that the faculty and SGA having a student forum is a great way [for students] to express their thoughts and get their questions answered," concluded Deondra Moore, a public relations representative for The Association of Campus Events. All students and faculty are welcome to attend the forum.
