Six UK faculty members were singled out on a pamphlet that was distributed to legislative officials last week during the special session on pension reform in Frankfort.
The Family Foundation, a conservative family-oriented group based out of Lexington, issued 130 handouts containing the names, pictures, biographies and salaries of six UK faculty members, a majority of whom are associated with the Gender and Women's Studies program.

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (AP) _ Police say three Middle Tennessee teenagers died when their sport utility vehicle became stuck in mud which plugged the exhaust system.
Eighteen-year-old Josh Baker of Winchester, 17-year-old Kristie Burton of Lynchburg and 15-year-old Alyssa Rucker of Tullahoma were found dead in the vehicle Saturday night.

Phillip Jeter, journalism professor at MTSU, will be transferring to Winston Salem State University in North Carolina this fall to assume the position as the chair of the department of mass communication.
